Helping the Church Develop a Culture of Biblical Care
Our Beliefs
As a biblical counseling ministry, we appeal to God’s Word for everything pertaining to life and godliness. We believe, apart from placing one’s trust in the person and work of Jesus Christ, true transformational change is not possible.

The Confessional Statement of the Biblical Counseling Coalition
Truth Renewed provides FREE biblical counseling to hundreds of people in our community every year. Many of these families are from neighboring churches and those seeking faith-based counseling in our community. Our staff of biblically certified counselors volunteer their time to help meet the need of the individuals seeking counseling. Truth Renewed always has a waiting list, so we're always praying for more volunteer counselors. We partner with other biblical counseling organizations in order to maximize availability to those seeking counseling.
Truth Renewed, as a training center for ABC, offers Level 1 Biblical Counseling Certification to non-profit organizations and churches seeking to cultivate greater care within their ministries. We've been offering certification training for the last four years, and more recently, we had an online virtual class where those aboard were able to pursue certification and then implement it in their context. Our goal is to offer both in-person and online certification to those across the country and overseas where this training is not available.
As Truth Renewed continues to certify lay leaders, pastors, elders, non-profit organizations, and teams, they need help implementing this training in their respective ministry contexts. We partner with these leaders to help them assimilate and execute a contextualized plan of soul care in their church or non-profit.
Our Process
Our Biblical counselors will walk with you, providing spiritual guidance through seasons of suffering, struggles with sin, unexpected difficulties, and life's ubiquitous challenges. With Scripture and instruction from the Holy Spirit, the counselor will provide insight, encouragement, and resolutions to support and address the individual's needs in Scripture.
At the end of each session, counselees are given growth assignments. Designed to help counselees apply God's Word to the issue-specific matters they're working through, seeking godly responses.
Counseling sessions will be confidential, nonjudgmental, and in a compassionate environment. Speaking the truth in love and respecting the individual’s concerns, while addressing the trials of sin and suffering. Trials such as, but not limited to the following:
Marital distress
Depression
Anxiety
Grief
Addiction
Emotional distress
Stress management
